Basketball Game Preview: Shawnee Indians vs. Ottawa-Glandorf Titans

Shawnee hasn't had much luck against Ottawa-Glandorf recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Shawnee Indians will look to defend their home court against the Ottawa-Glandorf Titans at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Monday, Shawnee beat Bellefontaine 54-42.

Shawnee's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Morgan Betts, who went 5 for 7 on her way to 14 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamryn Morris, who posted 15 points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Ottawa-Glandorf put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 51-36 victory over Crestview. The 51-point effort marked the Titans' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Ottawa-Glandorf pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Shawnee, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.

Shawnee was dealt a bruising 52-13 defeat at the hands of Ottawa-Glandorf in their previous meeting back in February. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Shawnee was down 37-5.
