Volleyball Recap: University City Takes a Loss

University City saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Catalina Foothills Falcons.

Catalina Foothills found their leader in freshman Vincent Merheb, who had seven digs and two aces.

University City's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Catalina Foothills, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-6.

University City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Centennial on the 22nd. As for Catalina Foothills, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Trabuco Hills on the 22nd.
