Chipley is a perfect 10-0 against Malone since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Chipley will look to defend their home field against Malone at 6:00 p.m. Chipley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.2 runs per game this season.

Chipley is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest loss since March 14, 2024 on Monday. They lost 9-3 to Abbeville Christian Academy.

Olivia Brown was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenzlee Nelson, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Meanwhile, Malone didn't have quite enough to beat Sneads on Tuesday and fell 4-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Pirates: they've now lost six in a row.

Indya Barnes made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole five bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was A Wesley, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Malone's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Chipley, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-5.

Thursday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Chipley has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .469. However, it's not like Malone struggles in that department as they've averaged .603. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Everything went Chipley's way against Malone when the teams last played back in March, as Chipley made off with a 27-1 win. Will Chipley repeat their success, or does Malone has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
