The Trinity Christian Academy Eagles and the Lyman Greyhounds will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Trinity Christian Academy is headed into Monday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They took a blow against Auburndale, falling 77-38. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 74-29, which was the final score in Lyman's tilt against Lake Brantley on Friday. The Greyhounds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lyman now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they now also have a losing record at 3-4.

Trinity Christian Academy was taken down by Lyman 76-37 in their previous meeting back in January of 2021. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Trinity Christian Academy was down 47-15.
