Basketball Recap: Dublin Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Tristian Bell and Javion Harris

Dublin has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 46-42 heartbreaker at the hands of the Toombs County Bulldogs. The match marked the Fighting Irish's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the loss, Dublin had strong showings from Javion Harris, who went 6 for 9 en route to 16 points and five boards, and Tristian Bell, who posted six points in addition to six assists and five steals.

Among those leading the charge was Parker Stanley, who went 6 of 10 on his way to 15 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. Another player making a difference was Cornelius Bullard, who scored ten points.

Dublin's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Toombs County, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-7.

Dublin will face off against Washington County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Washington County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Toombs County, they will challenge Vidalia at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
