Softball Recap: Carondelet Takes a Loss

Carondelet came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the California Grizzlies, falling 10-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Cougars have suffered since April 18, 2024.

Angela Gates made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 1-for-2. Arielle Henriquez also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Carondelet now has a losing record of 4-5. As for California, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

Carondelet didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 5-4 victory against San Ramon Valley on the 3rd. As for California, they have also already played their next game, a 10-2 win against Foothill on the 3rd.
