After a string of three wins, Russell County's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of the Glasgow Scotties by a score of 2-1. Russell County fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Glasgow since Thursday.

Russell County's loss dropped their record down to 8-5-2. As for Glasgow, the win got them back to even at 8-8-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Russell County will venture away from home to challenge Campbellsville at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Glasgow, they will head out to square off against Warren East at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Warren East will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Glasgow surely won't give up without a fight.
