Baseball Game Preview: Park School Bruins vs. Eastern Vikings

The Park School Bruins will take on the Eastern Vikings at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, Park School narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Pallotti 5-4. The Bruins haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Dylan Katz was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Josh Downs was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Eastern earned a 6-1 win over Gloucester County Tech on Tuesday.

Park School's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Eastern, they pushed their record up to 1-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.
