Baseball Recap: First Assembly Christian Has No Trouble Against Senatobia

First Assembly Christian had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 12-run drubbing they dealt Senatobia on Tuesday. Everything went the First Assembly Christian Crusaders' way against the Senatobia Warriors as the First Assembly Christian Crusaders made off with a 12-0 win.

Not much got past Ronin Badoud, who gave up just four hits and racked up 11 Ks to keep Senatobia off the board.

On the hitting side, Christian Forrest was a standout: he scored two runs while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Logan Furnas, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

First Assembly Christian now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Senatobia, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 7-4 record.

Looking ahead, First Assembly Christian will welcome Southaven at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Senatobia, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against Tipton-Rosemark Academy on the 11th.
