Football Recap: Gardner's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

It was a proper cat-fight when Gardner challenged Littleton on Friday. The Wildcats walked away with a 14-7 victory over the Tigers. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Gardner found their leader in sophomore Dom Jamison, who threw for 205 yards and two touchdowns.

Gardner's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5. As for Littleton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Gardner will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Tyngsborough at 7:00 p.m. The Tigers' defense has only allowed 7.8 points per game this season, so the Wildcats' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Littleton, they are taking a road trip to square off against Lunenburg at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Blue Knights have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests.
