Softball Recap: Bishop Ready Silver Knights vs. North Union Wildcats
Bishop Ready was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 19-2 to the North Union Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Bishop Ready of the 18-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2022.
Bishop Ready saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Olyvia Piper, who went 1-for-2 with a double and an RBI.
Bishop Ready now has a losing record at 10-11. As for North Union, their victory bumped their record up to 11-13.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop Ready will take on Whitehall-Yearling at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Bishop Ready is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4 runs per game this season. As for North Union, they will head out on the road to square off against Benjamin Logan at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
