Baseball Recap: Richland Takes a Loss

Richland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 19-0 to the Dexter Bearcats. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Rebels' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Richland's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Dexter, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

Looking ahead, Richland will take on Leopold at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Dexter, they will challenge Sikeston at 1:30 p.m. on Monday.
