Softball Recap: Idaho Falls Takes a Loss

Idaho Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 13-3 to the Cole Valley Christian Chargers.

Idaho Falls saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brynlee Riedle, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and one run. Another was Olivia Cordon, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Idaho Falls now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Cole Valley Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Idaho Falls will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Skyline at 3:00 p.m. on April 1. Skyline has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.75 runs per game on average), something Idaho Falls will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Cole Valley Christian, they will head out to take on Meridian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
