Softball Recap: Burlingame Panthers vs. Carlmont Scots
Burlingame fell victim to Carlmont and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 7-0 to the Carlmont Scots. Burlingame was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Carlmont apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April.
Burlingame saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Keira Parker, who went 1-for-3 with a double.
On Carlmont's side, Kathrine Fung made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Fung has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive pitching appearances. Fung was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Izzy Mccandless was incredible, going 4-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI.
