Soccer Recap: Ada Comes Up Short

If Ada was riding high fresh off their 5-2 takedown of Lincolnview last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Riverdale Falcons by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. Ada were red-hot offensively heading into the match (they scored no less than four goals in the three contests prior), but Riverdale's defense proved too tough.

The defeat snapped Ada's winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 11-5-2 record. As for Riverdale, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-13.

Ada does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Riverdale, they will challenge Fort Jennings at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
