On Wednesday, the DC International Dragons got the win against the Girls Global Academy Trailblazers by a conclusive 24-6. The victory made it back-to-back wins for DC International.

Minna Balk was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (she also only allowed one walk). Balk was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-3 with five RBI, three runs, and a triple.

In other batting news, Laine Harter was incredible, firing off two home runs, six RBI, and four runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Gaby Sousa was another key contributor, scoring four runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

DC International's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

DC International will head out on the road to take on Idea at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Girls Global Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Richard Wright Public Charter School at 3:30 p.m. on April 10th.
