Basketball Recap: Jack Skinner's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Chisholm Trail over Argyle

Chisholm Trail and Argyle squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Chisholm Trail had to settle for second. They fell 46-37 to the Argyle Eagles. The Rangers have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Several Rangers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jack Skinner, who posted nine points. What's more, Skinner also posted a 75% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jalen Thomas, who had nine points.

Chisholm Trail's loss dropped their record down to 21-10. As for Argyle, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-16.

Chisholm Trail does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Argyle, they have already played their next game, a 37-18 defeat against Mansfield Summit on the 20th.
