Preview: Creekview Mustangs vs. Reedy Lions

The Creekview Mustangs will be playing at home against the Reedy Lions at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Creekview is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home.

Creekview pushed their score all the way to 55 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They suffered a tough 75-55 defeat at the hands of Frisco. While losing is never fun, Creekview can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 604th, while the Raccoons are ranked 255th).

Reedy can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They walked away with a 53-40 victory over Turner. Winning is a bit easier when you work as a team to rack up 12 more assists than your opponent, as Reedy did.

Rylen Mitro was his usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with seven rebounds. Jackson Ford was another key contributor, scoring ten points.

Creekview has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-15 record this season. As for Reedy, their win bumped their record up to 11-17.

Creekview suffered a grim 77-53 defeat to the Lions in their previous meeting back in January. Will Creekview have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other basketball content.
