            Basketball Recap: Westover Patriots vs. Terrell County Greenwave        
        
		
        
        
            Westover won the last time they faced Terrell County and things went their way  on Saturday too. The Westover Patriots walked away with  a   39-28  victory over the Terrell County Greenwave. Given the Patriots' advantage  in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings  (they are ranked 146th, while the Greenwave are ranked 351st), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
Westover found their leader in sophomore  Sydney Donaldson, who  dropped  a double-double on 17 points and ten  boards. Another player making a difference was  Wykieria Holmes, who  posted seven  points in addition to six  rebounds and five  steals.
 Westover  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 14  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least 14  offensive boards in four consecutive  games.
 Terrell County's loss  came despite strong showings from  Jada Rushing and  Britney Hill.  Rushing  earned nine points, while  Hill  scored nine  points. Hill is trending in the right direction considering she's  improved her point production for three straight games.

Westover's win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 9-5. As for Terrell County,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 7-10.
