Timpview faced Spanish Fork in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Dons who were credited with the win. The Spanish Fork Dons got it done in the shootout by posting seven goals to the Timpview Thunderbirds' six. Timpview's defeat signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Leah Atuaia, who's now up to six this season.

Timpview's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 9-1 and their overall record down to 12-2. As for Spanish Fork, they pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.
