Softball Recap: Chisum Takes a Loss

Chisum was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 16-5 to the Lone Oak Buffaloes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Buffaloes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 on March 3rd.

Chisum's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Lone Oak, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, Chisum and Lone Oak will both be playing Prairiland the next time they take the field. The Mustangs will head out to face the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Buffaloes will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
