Rio Hondo Prep had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. Everything went their way against the Arroyo Knights as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Kares not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since August 14th (when they won 3-0).

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Rio Hondo Prep took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-11, 25-15.

Rio Hondo Prep's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Arroyo, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Rio Hondo Prep will challenge Marshall at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Arroyo, they will face off against Bassett at 4:45 p.m. on Monday.
