Basketball Recap: Colonial Heights Takes a Loss

If Colonial Heights was feeling good fresh off their 64-31 takedown of Nottoway last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Colonial Heights Colonials were dealt a 62-33 loss at the hands of the Prince George Royals on Tuesday. The Colonials were not able to make up for their defeat to the Royals from their previous meeting back in February.

Colonial Heights has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Prince George, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Colonial Heights will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Nottoway at 6:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. As for Prince George, they are taking a road trip to square off against Freeman at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
