Basketball Recap: Tekonsha Takes a Loss

Tekonsha was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Burr Oak Bobcats, falling 60-14. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 52-19 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

When it comes to explaining why Tekonsha lost, don't look at Reagan Henry. Despite the final result, she posted eight points. Henry continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Tekonsha's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Burr Oak, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-5.

Tekonsha didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 47-34 defeat against Camden-Frontier on the 27th. As for Burr Oak, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 39-30 loss against Climax-Scotts on the 27th.
