St. Charles East came out on top against Glenbard North on Tuesday thanks in part to Joey Arend's efforts. Arend wasn't messing around, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. The match was his fourth straight with at least one stolen base.

Arend's strong effort led St. Charles East over Glenbard North and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Fighting Saints are 8-1 against the Panthers going back to April of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
