Basketball Recap: Round Lake Comes Up Short

Round Lake lost against Lakes back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Round Lake Panthers lost 53-33 to the Lakes Eagles. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Round Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Lakes, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-15.

Round Lake will head out to challenge Marengo at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Round Lake is facing Marengo at the right time seeing as Marengo is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Lakes, they are taking a road trip to square off against North Chicago at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lakes has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
