Basketball Recap: Water Valley Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Water Valley couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Garden City Bearkats by a score of 40-38 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Wildcats have suffered since December 7, 2023.

With the defeat, Water Valley broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-7.
