Softball Recap: Vigor Takes a Loss

Vigor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 7-0 to the Citronelle Wildcats, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 on Thursday.

Vigor's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Citronelle, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-18 record this season.

Vigor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Citronelle, they will head out to challenge Jackson at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
