Basketball Recap: Jones Piles Up the Points Against Senn

Jones won the last time they faced Senn and things went their way on Thursday too. The Jones Eagles simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Senn Bulldogs 70-43. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Jones pushed their record up to 15-12 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.4 points over those games. As for Senn, their loss dropped their record down to 9-14.

Jones and Senn are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Jones will face off against Saint Ignatius College Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Saint Ignatius College Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 games -- so hopefully Jones likes a good challenge. As for Senn, they will challenge Leyden at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Senn is facing Leyden at the right time seeing as Leyden is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
