Baseball Recap: Tarpon Springs Comes Up Short

Tarpon Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 10-2 to the Clearwater Tornadoes. Surprisingly, this marked the fifth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Tarpon Springs saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carson Tibbetts, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Tarpon Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Clearwater, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-8.

Tarpon Springs has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Anclote on the 10th. As for Clearwater, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 24-2 win against Gibbs on the 9th.
