Softball Recap: Lewis & Clark Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lewis & Clark can now relate to. They lost 20-3 to the Mead Panthers on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 9-4 loss last Tuesday.

Tyler Capaul was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.

Lewis & Clark has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season. As for Mead, their victory bumped their record up to 17-4.

As of now, neither Lewis & Clark nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
