In Friday's Canine Competition, Primero prevailed. They put the hurt on the Mountain Valley Wolves with a sharp 3-0 win on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won five in a row.

Primero walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-9, 25-20, 25-20.

Leading Primero to victory were Isabella Shew and Jaleysia Atkins. Shew had 13 digs and five assists, while Atkins hit 68.2% for 16 kills and 18 digs and three aces. Atkins is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last 22 games she's played dating back to last season.

Primero's victory bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Mountain Valley, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.
