Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Watersprings). They took their match on Saturday with ease, bagging a 69-37 victory over the Challis Vikings. Fans of Watersprings have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Watersprings to victory, but perhaps none more so than Korban Nelson, who went 10 of 15 on his way to 23 points and five boards. Those 23 points gave Nelson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Titus Driver, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds.
Watersprings was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Challis only posted three assists.
Defeat or not, Challis got some senior leadership from Jacen Farr and Jayden Sheppard. Farr posted 14 points, while Sheppard put up seven points.

Watersprings knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully American Heritage likes a good challenge. As for Challis, they will welcome Rockland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
