Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wabash). They came out on top against the Blackford Bruins by a score of 7-4 on Saturday. This was a revenge game for the Apaches: when they faced off against the Bruins on Saturday, they had to take a 4-3 loss.

The team relied heavily on Dominic Baker, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Carter Booth was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

The win got Wabash back to even at 2-2. As for Blackford, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, Wabash will square off against Oak Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games the Golden Eagles have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Blackford, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Southwood at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
