Basketball Recap: Angoon Starts Season with Win Against Thorne Bay

Angoon gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They claimed a resounding 62-20 win over the Thorne Bay Wolverines. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Angoon will have a chance to go back-to-back against Thorne Bay: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
