Softball Recap: Florida State University High School Seminoles vs. Lincoln Trojans
Florida State University High School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lincoln Trojans. Seminoles fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Trojans since on Tuesday.

Shyla Wiley was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. She pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
Wiley wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Lawton Hosey, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.
