Softball Recap: Arab Comes Up Short

Arab dropped their record down to 11-19-1 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins at home. They lost 7-0 to the Madison Academy Mustangs. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Knights have suffered since April 1st.

Arab saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lily Livingston, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

As for Madison Academy, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 25-4. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won 18 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

On Madison Academy's side, Evie Stephenson was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Stephenson has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Adair Allen, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Arab beat Madison Academy by a score of 10-3 later that day.
