Sandburg had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against the Andrew Thunderbolts on Friday as they made off with a 31-9 victory. With the Eagles ahead 28-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sandburg will welcome Richards at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Andrew, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Plainfield South at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
