Basketball Recap: Urbana Takes a Loss

Urbana was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a hard 57-38 fall against the St. Louis University Junior Bills. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Junior Bills apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2018.

When it comes to explaining why Urbana lost, don't look at Kyree Hillsman. Despite the final result, he posted 24 points. The dominant performance gave Hillsman a new career-high in points. Jaylen McElmurry was another key player, putting up eight points.

Urbana's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for St. Louis University, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
