Basketball Game Preview: Central Panthers vs. South Albany Redhawks

Central and South Albany are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. After both having extra time off, the two teams will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Central came up short against Parkrose and fell 54-44. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, South Albany ended up a good deal behind Ridgeview last Saturday and lost 72-53.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for South Albany, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Central and South Albany were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in February, but Central came up empty-handed after a 45-44 loss. Can Central avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
