Softball Recap: Trinity Christian Comes Up Short

If Trinity Christian was feeling good fresh off their 12-1 takedown of Southwest Christian School on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lions came up short against the Midland Christian Mustangs on Tuesday, falling 15-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Lions were not able to get on the board.

Trinity Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Midland Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season.

While Trinity Christian had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
