Softball Recap: Spanaway Lake Comes Up Short

Spanaway Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 10-0 to the Bonney Lake Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Sentinels of the 17-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Spanaway Lake's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Bonney Lake, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Coming up, Spanaway Lake is taking a road trip to take on Yelm at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Yelm will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for Bonney Lake, they will take on Olympia at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bonney Lake's pitchers better be ready for this one: Olympia has averaged an impressive 9 runs per game this season.
