The Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology Lions are taking a road trip to take on the Hasbrouck Heights Aviators at 4:05 p.m. on Friday. Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.
On Thursday, Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology got the win against Harrison by a conclusive 14-7. The Lions have beaten the Blue Tide the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Blue Tide has come to flipping the script.

Troi Jackson was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 16 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024.
Jackson wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Lexi-Marie Feliciano, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Another was Saige Coates, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs.
Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .525. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Hasbrouck Heights has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 2.12 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Wednesday. They took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pascack Hills. The Aviators' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
Daniele Giresi made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with three doubles and three RBI.
Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology's record now sits at 6-7. As for Hasbrouck Heights, their loss dropped their record down to 14-3.
Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology came up short against Hasbrouck Heights when the teams last played back in May of 2018, falling 3-0. Can the Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
