Football Game Preview: Christian Patriots vs. Scripps Ranch Falcons + How To Watch

The Christian Patriots are taking a road trip to challenge the Scripps Ranch Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Christian has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with five straight defeats, while Scripps Ranch will come in with three straight victories.

On Friday, Christian lost to La Jolla on the road by a 41-24 margin. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 463rd, while the Vikings are ranked 204th).

Christian's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Kaleb Runkle, who rushed for 71 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries, and Kai Rosier, who picked up 115 receiving yards and one TD.

Meanwhile, Scripps Ranch earned a 36-24 win over Ramona last Friday.

Christian better keep an eye on Malachi Sayles. He was instrumental in Scripps Ranch's win, rushing for 169 yards and one score while picking up 9.9 yards per carry.

Scripps Ranch's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Christian took a serious blow against Scripps Ranch in their previous meeting back in September of 2023, falling 37-0. Can the Patriots avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
