Recap: Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes vs. Oakwood Comets
The Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 58-20 defeat at the hands of Oakwood. Georgetown-Ridge Farm has not had much luck with Oakwood recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Several Buffaloes players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ajhon Watson, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Devin Vice, who scored four points along with three steals.
Georgetown-Ridge Farm has been struggling recently, as they've lost 13 of their last 14 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-19 record this season. As for Oakwood, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-6.
Georgetown-Ridge Farm will look to defend their home court on Friday against Chrisman at 7:00 p.m. Chrisman has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. Oakwood's road trip will continue as they head out to face Cissna Park at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th.
