Basketball Game Preview: Clinton Arrows vs. Edwards Tigers

The Clinton Arrows will venture away from home to square off against the Edwards Tigers at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Clinton has given up an average of 54.3 points per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Clinton came up short against Raymond and fell 61-48.

Meanwhile, Edwards hadn't done well against Cleveland Central recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Tigers blew past the Wolves 69-25. The matchup marked the Tigers' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Edwards, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Clinton and Edwards were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in November of 2024, but Clinton came up empty-handed after a 62-61 loss. Can the Arrows avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
