Enumclaw waltzed into their match  on Wednesday with 15 straight wins... but they left with 16. They were the clear victors by  a  12-2 margin over the Auburn Mountainview Lions. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.
Enumclaw got a great performance from  Alyssa Harris as she  struck out nine batters over  five innings while giving up just two earned runs off   four  hits (and not a single walk). Harris has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  tossed less than eight  strikeouts in 14 consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Ava Lim was  incredible,  firing off two  home runs, six  RBI,  and three  runs while going 4-for-4. Those  four  hits gave  her a new career-high.  Nadia Flaherty also deserves some recognition as  she  hit her first  triple of the season.
 Enumclaw was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .433. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Auburn Mountainview only posted a  batting average of  .211.
Enumclaw's win was  their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 18-2. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 14.6 runs over those games. As for Auburn Mountainview, they moved to 15-4 with that  defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.
 Enumclaw does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Auburn Mountainview, they will take on Decatur at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Golden Gators have averaged an impressive 10.9  runs per game this season.
