Football Recap: Tate Gets the Win + How To Watch

Tate hadn't done well against Navarre recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Aggies narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Raiders 29-26. The game was the first time the Aggies have beaten the Raiders on their field since November 13, 2015.

Tate found their leader in sophomore Tanner Clark, who rushed for 192 yards and three TDs. Those 192 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Clark. Laquarius Bradford got in on the action too, returning a kick for a touchdown.

Tate was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 266 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Tate and bumps their season record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 28.0 points over those games. As for Navarre, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tate will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Pace at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. As for Navarre, they will welcome Escambia at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Gators will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
