Indian Land faced Eastside in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Warriors' pitchers stepped up to hand the Eagles an 8-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won 17 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

The victory was the ninth in a row for Indian Land, bringing their record up to 25-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Eastside, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-11.

Indian Land will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair will be back at it again later today.
