Wetumpka had already won 12 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.1 runs) and they went ahead and made it 13 on Friday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Baker Hornets. This was payback for the Indians, who suffered a 9-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

The team relied heavily on Lily Davenport, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyla Richardson, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Wetumpka's win bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Baker, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.
